Hello ktimezrw readers, The google pixel fold is incredible and I’ll be sharing the detail today.
Previous rumors of the google pixel fold being cancelled were incorrect and today we’ve got all the new information.
We had many reports of the google pixel fold being cancelled and this was from many credible sources and 14th Feb 2022 Ross Young Tweeted to say that it is back and the google pixel fold is going to start panel production in Q3 of this year with launch set to be in Q4.
Ross young is incredibly reliable with the display information so we can be very sure that this is correct.
We’ve also got new animation that was discovered in the Android 12L beta and this shows us exactly what the google pixel fold is gonna look like. We have an new report from nine to five google and their inside source tells us that google are working on the new pixel fold but current name is called Notepad.
It’s not set in stone until launch in a previous consideration it was actually called Logbook so until a name is finalized we’re going to refer to it as the google pixel fold .
Their source also advice that the google pixel fold is going to cost less than its competitor Z fold 3 and that the pixel fold is likely going to start from $1399 well that is still a lot of money for a foldable phone in this category it is on the cheaper side now .The information was discovered in google’s new camera app as well and the phone in that is being referred to as the Pixel fold 5G according to the data it’s not going to have the same camera system as the pixel 6 though and the code reveals that the main camera is going to be a 12.2 Megapixels Sony IMX 363 and this is going to be supported by another 12 Megapixel Sensor this is the Sony IMX 386 for ultrawide shots.
It reveals two selfie cameras which is likely going to be on the outer display and then another on the inner display and these are both going to be Eight Megapixels Sony IMX 355. Google were previously granted a patent from the USA patent office and this was for a multi-axis soft hinge mechanism it was 58-page document that describes an advance hinge system to create a minimal seam when the device is folded and it also described an inward folding screen so this is no doubt what Google will be using for the new pixel fold when it comes to the display thanks to Ross Young again we know that Pixel fold is going to support 7.57 inch Main display this is going to be a 120hz LTPO Display given the size of the main inner display we can also be pretty sure that the cover display is going to be abut 6.2 inches and we’re unsure of the exact specs of this display but given the phones it’s competing with we estimate that it’s going to be 120 Hertz AMOLED there also rumors that it could be first phone from Google to support an in-display selfie camera but they are simply just rumors and we hope that doesn’t happen in for a start they just don’t produce good quality images and secondly if that’s the case it’s starting to look identical to the Z-Fold 3.
In terms of the rest of the design there’s been a few concepts floating around for the Google pixel fold and some are basing them on Pixel 5’S design with others basing them on 6.
We think it’s going to be more like the six in terms of its overall design and probably something like this concept from WaqarkhanHd we are pleased that the pixel fold hasn’t been cancelled and given Google’s success with pixel 6 they can use that momentum to succeed with fold they’ve proved that their new chipset is capable and their software is incredible and it’s great to have even more competition in the foldable market .

Overall it’s looking like a great phone and it’s great to see after the new look of their recent pixels they’re continuing to make their way into the foldable market.
Foldable devices are expected to gain more market as the years goes on and the Pixel Fold 5G will definitely be helping.
